Some breast pump accessories do need replacing regularly to maintain performance. If you notice your pump seems to have lost suction, the first thing you should do is check your parts and inspect for wear, fraying or stretching.

The diaphragm is used to help the pump maintain sealing, to prevent milk leakage.

In order to maintain the optimal suction, it is recommended to replace washable accessories every 3 months.

Note:
DO NOT microwave-sterilize to prevent parts from melting. DO NOT expose to temperatures exceeding 110°C.
